Outreach and Missions

     First Congregational supports a number of missions, locally, nationally and globally.  Local mission projects supported by our congregation within the past twelve months include AIDS Walk, Albany Girls Club, Camp Medusa, Capital Area Council of Churches, Capital City Rescue Mission, Capital Region Theological Center, CROP Walk, Damien Center, Interfaith Chapel House, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Mercy House, Regional Food Bank, and Support Ministries for Persons Living with AIDS. 

     National and global mission projects we have supported include the Batey Relief and Medical Missionary Alan Kerr; Church World Service Blanket Fund; victims of the Gulf Coast Hurricanes, (through the United Church of Christ Disaster Relief); and United Church of Christ Our Church's Wider Mission.
